Goodland Regional Medical Center currently remains in Phase 1 of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s Vaccination Plan implemented by Governor Kelly. Phase 1 is expected to last through the end of January and includes only those individuals that are healthcare workers, long term care residents and staff, and workers critical to pandemic response continuity.
Once Goodland Regional Medical Center is allowed to enter into Phase 2, we will immediately begin communications to alert the community. Phase 2 includes persons 65 and older, congregate living settings, high-contact critical workers and all unvaccinated persons prioritized in previous phases.
The rate of vaccinations will depend on the availability of vaccine that we receive from the federal government so we will continue to communicate with the community as more information becomes available.
To assist GRMC in identifying those individuals interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, we are implementing a COVID-19 Reservation List. If you would like to be placed on our reservation list at GRMC to obtain the two-dose series, please call the Goodland Family Health Center at 785-890-6075.
Please pay close attention to all media outlets as vaccination plans unfold. The COVID-19 pandemic remains a fluid situation and plans can change rather quickly at any time. Goodland Regional Medical Center in collaboration with the Sherman County Health Department will keep media outlets updated as needed.Leave a reply
