Christopher Liedke, DO, FACP, FACR is a board certified rheumatologist with Meeting House Lane Medical Practice specializing
in advanced diagnostic and procedural approaches to help patients
manage a variety of rheumatologic conditions. His practice encompasses
all aspects of rheumatology, including the treatment of rheumatoid
arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing
spondylitis, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, polymyalgia rheumatica,
myositis, antiphospholipid syndrome, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis,
osteoarthritis, gout, pseudogout and vasculitis. Dr. Liedke performs
diagnostic aspiration and analysis by light and polarized light
microscopy of synovial fluid from synovial joints, bursae and
tenosynovial structures; as well as therapeutic injection of synovial
joints, bursae, tenosynovial structures and entheses.
Additionally, Dr. Liedke is the co-director of Stony Brook Medicine's
Osteoporosis Center and is certified in clinical densitometry. He takes
great pride in reducing patients' fracture risk and optimizing bone
health.
