Jessica Gittinger began her nursing career working in long-term care as a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aide for many years, prior to obtaining her Associate’s Degree in nursing through Colby Community College in 2014. While at CCC, Jessica was a member of the PHI THETA KAPPA Honor Society. Jessica continued her education and earned her bachelor’s degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2017. While working at Goodland Family Health Center, she also received her Master of Science in nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing, with a specialty track in family nurse practitioner. She was also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing-Phi Pi Chapter. Jessica finished her clinical rotation at Goodland Family Health Center working alongside Travis Daise, MD, and Jackie Jorgensen, APRN-BC in the summer of 2020. She is also board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners certification board (AANPCB).
Jessica and her husband, Timothy, both grew up in Goodland where they plan to continue to raise their son, Aiden. Together as a family, they enjoy spending time outside including shooting, hunting, and fishing. You can also find Jessica teaching Zumba or Aqua Zumba either at the Goodland Activities Center or at Topside Aquatics in her spare time.
