GRMC Masking Update- July 6, 2020

After significant consideration, Goodland Regional Medical Center and Goodland Family Health Center will not require the use of facial coverings while in our facility.  This decision was made based upon many factors, including Sherman County’s current COVID-19 status and our preparedness as a facility in response to COVID-19.  Sherman County has had seven confirmed cases with zero hospitalizations.  All the confirmed cases have made a full recovery and we have had no new cases in over five weeks.

It is important to us that our patients and visitors feel safe when seeking health care, so we encourage you to do what you feel is best for you and your family.  Please let your healthcare provider and hospital staff know if you would feel more comfortable with them wearing a mask when providing care to you.

Please continue to monitor yourself and your family for symptoms such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath and stay home if you are sick.  We continue to recommend frequent hand washing and social distancing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Goodland Regional Medical Center and Goodland Family Health Center continuously monitor our COVID-19 status and may change our policies based on the impact of COVID-19 in our community. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at (785) 890-3625. Thank you!
