GRMC Phone System Update- May 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 19, 2021

Goodland, KS– Goodland Regional Medical Center announces that a new phone system is coming soon.

On May 25, 2021, Goodland Regional Medical Center will be implementing a new phone system.  This new phone system will be a welcomed upgrade to the facility, which will greatly improve communications. In response to patient concerns, this updated system will be a superior solution to the current system and is more adaptable to the hospital environment.

“We look forward to being able to better communicate with our patients and staff through a more robust and high-tech solution for phone service. We have had several issues with our current system and know that the community has voiced their concerns and wanted us to make a change. We are moving forward with an excellent solution. Please be patient as we make the transition,” stated Christy Pemberton, GRMC Risk/Quality Manager, and Compliance Officer.

As the facility is improving its phone system and implementing the change, patients are asked to be aware of potential delays and be patient with the facility’s staff.  In the long run, patients will notice a much smoother, more efficient communication process.
