Retirement of Jackie Jorgensen, APRN-BC

Goodland, KS – Goodland Regional Medical Center is announcing the retirement of Jackie Jorgensen, APRN-BC.
Jackie Jorgensen, APRN-BC, has served the community and Goodland Regional Medical Center for fifty-two years. She will be retiring from GRMC and the Goodland Family Health Center on December 31, 2020. During her time at GRMC/GFHC, Jackie has worked her way from Floor Nurse to becoming a Goodland Family Health Center Provider as a Nurse Practitioner, helping so many along the way.
Jackie stated, “I have mixed emotions about this next step in my life, sadness in leaving my patients, and joy in looking forward to retirement. I have been working for Goodland Regional Medical Center since 1968. The people of Goodland have become like family to me and I will miss taking care of them. The staff, throughout the years, have also been like family to me and I will miss them as well. I would like to thank all my patients that have allowed me to care for them throughout the years and the staff that I have worked with. It has been a privilege to have served this community for the past 52 years. There are some great providers at the Goodland Family Health Center that will be able to provide excellent care to all.”
“Jackie will always be remembered for the difference that she’s made here in the clinic as well as within GRMC. Her hard work and years of dedication to the organization are examples of service and commitment that everyone should hope to follow. You are an inspiration to so many and we wish you well in this new chapter. Enjoy the fruits of your hard work,” said Amie Powell, Goodland Family Health Center, and GRMC Specialty Clinic Administrator.
Goodland Regional Medical Center, the Goodland Family Health Center, its employees, board, and the administration team would like to thank Jackie for all she has done over the years. She will be greatly missed and will always be considered a member of our team and family! Thank you, Jackie, we wish you well!
